Despite being pro-gay rights, pro-choice and a proven filanderer who used his cancer treatment as a excuse for boning some office staffer (who is now wife No. 3 or maybe his more recent ex-wife, I forget), Republicans love their man!

Note: I don't mention Rudy's social stances because I disagree with them, quite the contrary. I point them out because this is the first sign that the extreme right is losing the country they've held hostage for the last 8 years.
